"This is my short biography: I started making quilts when my children were small, to keep from going insane. I was trapped at home with a three year old and a one year old for about a decade (It seemed that way at the time.). Now I just have a three year old and the first two are eleven and nine, but I still make quilts. For years they made great gifts if someone was getting married or having a pup. Last year my husband had me get business cards made. Business cards do not a business make, but it's a start. I began using fabric dyes about four catalogues ago. I got a copy of " Hand-Dyed Fabric Made Easy" by Buffington. She lists your company as a source. That's how I got connected to Dharma.

"To keep my art alive and growing I have to try something new out each year. Dying my own fabric opened up a new world of quilting to me. Since learning to use the dyes I've learned to make celtic knot quilts, which look great in dyed fabrics. This year I'm beginning to paint the fabric with dye to get different effects. Most of the quilts I make now have some hand-dyed fabrics in them. The best quilt project I've ever worked on using your dyes is always the next one that's still in the planning stage."
