Hello, My Name is Ife Franklin, I am An Adire artist. I live in Roxbury, M.A. I own IfeArt Wearable Art. I create one of a kind hand dyed and designed clothing for women, children, and men, I am also working on a home decor line. I studied the Art of Adire at the School of The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, with master Adire artist Stanley Pinckney. I have been creating Adire for the past 16 years. As an African American, it is my desire to continue to not only create and sell my own work, but to be one of the many that help to keep this African art form alive. I sell my work from my home and at crafts events in the Boston area. I have been buying my "blank pieces" from Dharma for about 3 years now and I love the Panchos, Tee Shirts, Cotton Shoulder Bags, the Kuta Shirt, and the many other fine products that Dharma offers.
