Hi, I am a Dharma customer who has been using your products for 10 years or more. I started my hand decorated clothing business called Little Bitsys in 1995 and was so excited to find Dharma so I could continue this business. I developed my own niche in the hand decorated children's clothing market using the process described below.
Dharma products I use include:
Clothing blanks
Procion dyes
Synthrapol detergent
Soda Ash
Versatex screenprinting ink
Dharma fabric by the yard
Block print supplies
I buy Dharma clothing blanks, primarily children's clothing, sometimes women's, and hand dye or tie-dye using Dharma's procion dyes and auxiliaries and then I embellish them with the Little Bitsys trademark which is painted and/or block printed (using Versatex screen printing ink) patch that is sewn onto the clothing item. I use mercerized cotton fabric from Dharma to make the patch. Sometimes I dye this cloth first, other times I print or hand paint directly on the cotton.
I recently created a how-to movie which describes the process of making the Feeling Groovy Peace dress below. It is posted on my blog: http://www.littlebitsys.blogspot.com/ and also on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jNsvgZfePVk
I recently opened an Etsy store which features more Little Bitsys:
