I'm a fiber artist, author, and teacher who has never been able to stick to doing just one thing.

My first passion is dyeing . I use Dharma Procion MX dyes to dye cotton and silk fabric for quilts. I also dye clothing (mostly cotton clothing and rayon clothing ), old table linens , and most recently wool yarn to knit socks . Dharma has a great selection of PFD fabric and blanks for dyeing--clothing , scarves , silk roving, and much more. My other passion right now is inkjet printing on fabric. All you need is an inkjet printer and fabric to print on. Fabric should be treated to make the inkjet inks more permanent and you can buy all kinds of fabrics in many sizes that are treated and ready to run through your printer. If you want to make your own fabric sheets, you can use Bubble Jet Set and Freezer Paper Sheets .
