I've been creating and selling visual art professionally for eight years. Prior to the birth of my daughter, it was a hobby, and I only focused on creating oil-on-canvas paintings in a German-Expressionist inspired style. When I was pregnant with my daughter, I discovered that I had a knack for fiber arts, and that creating hand-painted children's clothes would be a perfect way to combine my identity as both a mother and an artist. Best of all, it lets me earn a living doing what I love--taking care of my baby and creating one-of-a-kind works of art. I also donate 10% of my profits to the World Wildlife Fund.
