I've been dyeing, sewing, painting, drawing, beading and felting in Denver, Colorado for quite some time. I especially love starting with a blank piece of paper or fabric and coming up with my own designs from scratch.

The hand dyed pins and ornaments take a minimum of 4 hours for a small pin and some of the larger, more complicated ornaments take me a couple of days to make. First they are sewn with good quality cotton fabric, then they are stuffed with polyfil.

Then they are dyed with Dye-Na Flow Silk Paint, painted with Lumiere acrylics fabric paints, and finally beaded with size 15 seed beads. The pins have a pin back securely sewn onto the back.
