I am a self taught physically challenged fiber artist. My inspiration is the love of beauty and the desire to help others like my self. I was shot in 1969 and art has helped me survive. I have been making quilts for about 20 years. When I first started I made quilts using traditional patterns but after seeing a landscape quilt artist on a PBS station I decided to teach my self how to make landscape quilts. I love to bead, embrodier, paint my fabric, pin weave, just to name a few techniques I use to make my quilts. The variety of products available is wonderful. I use Pebeo Setacolor Transparent fabric paint. It is my favorite paint. I also like the puff paint. I make my quilts for show and to help raise money for worthy causes. One of my quilts can take me six months to make.
