I am a fine artist primarily trained in watercolor, self-taught until being accepted to study at  William & Mary, Royal College of Art, London, England, 1984. Numerous shows and awards in California and throughout the U.S.  I taught myself to paint on silk while living in Kauai, Hawaii. I hand paint neck-ties using using both Dye-na Flow and Setasilk, hand painting with brushes in the method of Veneer, in layers. Up to 40 Glazes of paint or dye are applied by brush, and allowed to dry between layerings. Many were reproduced and sold thoughtout the US at zoo's, aquariums and arboretums.

Owners include Harrison Ford, Al Gore, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Ben Cayatano (former Governor of Hawaii)  as well as many other notables.
