Anthony ‘Bones’ Bonito is an American born Australian artist/musician who starting tiedying after immigrating to Australia in 2005.  Bones was lucky enough to experience the Grateful Dead subculture in his youth and still draws inspiration from flashbacks of the amazing tiedyes that he was exposed to at that time. Since then he has forged a signature style that combines reduction dying, batik and more standard techniques to produce vivid, psycedelic clothing that he sells as official ‘Bones’ merchandise at his OneManBand performances as well as markets and festivals in Western Australia where he now resides with his partner. 

After using Naphtol/Diazo dyes for a couple years, Bones discovered Procion dyes in 2008  and has not looked back.  2010 will see Bones expanding his artistic scale and scope producing stretched canvas style wall hangings, bedding and banners as well as establishing a website dedicated to his Tiedyes and Music.
