Hello, my Name is Philip Burrows. Since I was a child I have always loved the bright vivid colors and patterns of tie dyes. It was not until recently that I started making them on a larger scale. Unfortunately I do not have a web site yet. I was posting them on Ebay but there are over 8000 tie dyes on ebay and all of the fees would have forced me to raise my price. Currently I sell my Shirts at a shop called revolution 9 in the cotton exchange in historic downtown Wilmington NC ph#(1-910-762-8440). My email address is pmikeb@hotmail.com

The products that I use are fiber reactive dye, urea, sodium alginate, and soda ash. I am going to try synthropol soon because I need to simplify my wash out process. I purchased a video on making mandalas but found that I had to come up with my own technique to accomplish a 16 pointed mandala on smaller thicker surfaces such as t-shirts. The video was great for larger thin surfaces like tapestries but unrealistic for shirts. Most of the photos I sent are 16 pointed mandalas on t-shirts but there is a 32 pointed mandala on a tapestry. Hope you enjoy my work. Peace!
