The teflon cover sheet is a multi-functional necessity when using sublimation or heat transfers! The main use is for protection when transferring an opaque heat transfer image onto a dark garment. When it is placed between the image and the platen it prevents the ink on your transfer from ending up on your heat press. Follow the instructions for your heat transfer paper for application. Teflon is reusable and can last for years and years! Sold individually.
Teflon sheets can also be used to protect the bottom heat platen during sublimation or anytime there may be bleeding around your image.
During sublimation on fabric a teflon sheet can help prevent the ghosting effect often created by paper sliding across the shirt during the lifting of the platen. It can also be used as a weight to keep the transfer paper in place during the heating process to ensure perfect results!

Love this! Comes in handy for working on projects where glue is involved too. Just saw it is being discontinued & I am so bummed! Would have bought more if I knew.
