These form fitting shorts come with an elastic waistband and have a 5 1/2" inseam, approximately. 95% Cotton / 5% Elastane construction.
Please note that the style calls for 100% cotton thread but American Apparel sometimes uses a poly/cotton thread.
Please note that American Apparel women's sizes are about two sizes smaller than stated. Its best to buy 1-2 sizes larger.

LOVE them! Better than underpants under form fitting garments (no unsightly lines if you catch my drift). I used a natural walnut dye it's hard to tell where my skin ends and underpants begin. Pairs well with rayon skirts and dresses! Would like to see larger sizes added for sale.

Terribly limited sizing - We'd really love shorts in this length for women of a real M - L - XL - 2X size - 3 sizes smaller than L is *small* so these are really youth or Juniors only! any chance you can have Dharma leggings in this length? I've been alterning the capri length ones which feels a bit of a waste of fabric! Thanks!!

These are the right proportions for me (5'7" 135lbs) but not as 'beefy' as I had hoped - legs stretch out quickly with wear and tend to ride up slightly.

These are very sheer.... nice weave but thin. If you are looking for shorts for outer wear get a heavier fabric. Perfect for under summer dresses (that's why I got them).

these are quite sheer.... I only want them for under summer skirts so they will work. But for wearing alone they are a bit too revealing. If you want a stand-alone short avoid this product.

These were bought for men to wear and they worked out great. The men were dancers and no alterations were needed due to the stretch of the shorts. These also took dye very well.
