Inkjet Print on Silk Fabric - Instructions

Customer Service & Information Page

GENERAL INFORMATION AND USE

This is silk fabric to which a paper backing has been temporarily applied. This allows you to feed it into your inkjet printer just like paper. After printing, you peel the paper backing off and steam the silk as usual to set the dyes. The ink in most inkjet printers is similar to the silk dyes we sell.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

  1. Create your design onscreen - draw, paint, scan. Whatever.
  2. Put the fabric in the printer and print.
  3. Peel away the paper backing, then steam the silk in an improvised steamer (we have instructions to make your own) or if you like you can purchase a silk steamer.
  4. Rinse with Synthrapol and iron dry.

About Tiered Discount Levels

You can combine cotton and rayon clothing & accessories to get the greatest discounts. Your discount is figured on the total number of cotton and rayon items we ship, not how many of each type, style or size. Mix and match them to get the best discount.

Example: adding 4 each of 3 different T-shirts in any sizes will give you the 12+ price on all 12 shirts.
