These dyed up OK but there is something like cardboard inside the brims that bunched up in lumpy bits inside the brim after they got wet from the dyeing process.Also I had a couple where the hat and brim seemed to be made of slightly different materials and ended up two different shades from the same dye bath.

the hats were surprisingly small. maybe the smalls will fit an INFANT but the 12month old with small head i have needs a medium and so i would call them INFANT hats not child hats. most kids over 3 would not fit the large one.

Very nice hat - high quality. Dyed very easily. Note it does not come with the toggle. You have to cut the strap install the toggle and re-sew.
