Hi, My name is Tim Pintsch. My wife, Tanya, and I dye wool in our kitchen and sell it on the Internet. I got into yarn dyeing because, when I was younger, I really enjoyed painting a lot, but even more then painting itself, I really enjoyed getting adventurous with colors. We use Dharma Acid Dyes, which we mix together sometimes to achieve the color we want. We use Dharma's Urea Crystals to make our colors take with a certain boldness that is hard to describe. We pre-soak yarn and fiber with Dharma's Citric Acid which really helps with the smell - I can't tell you how horrible Vinegar smells when you spend hours leaning over it. We continue to dye yarn all the time and are contantly finding new, exciting adventures with them. Patience is key. We have a ton of fun, and what an awesome outlet it is!
