Featured Artist : Jacque Pierro

Pierro Studios is a design studio involved in hand silk-screening and dyeing textiles that are designed and manufactured into sassy, chic, uniquely designed handbags, pillows, and decorative art from the artwork of Jacque Pierro. Jacque founded the design studio in 2005, and she has expanded to printing and manufacturing products in-house in 2010. Most of her pieces are one-of-a-kind, custom, and wholesale, and multiple orders of a piece are welcome. She has licensed many of her designs and concepts to companies from around the world, but today she concentrates on silk-screening her own artwork and designing unique pieces.

Before opening Pierro Studios, Jacque started her twenty-year art career freelancing as a fashion designer and fashion illustrator for a local, independent clothing company in Columbus, Ohio. She then took a turn in her career when she accepted a position with Walt Disney Animation Studios in Orlando, Florida, where she worked as an animator on such films as Mulan, Tarzan, Lilo and Stitch, Brother Bear, Princess and The Frog, and other short films produced by the company.
