Hi, my name is Jen, and I'm a full-time RN, full-time mom, and part-time dyer and seamstress. I started dyeing when a friend asked me to make her a baby blanket with one specification - it needed to be tie-dyed. Stumped, I searched the web and found Dharma Trading Co. Since that day, I've ordered my Procion fiber reactive dyes, children's clothing blanks, and most t-shirts and bulk flannel and rayon fabrics from Dharma. Hands down, Dharma has the best selection of clothing blanks available in all shapes and sizes at great prices.

The process of creating something new, that someone else enjoys, is my inspiration. I don't dye much in bulk, and while most of my designs are easily reproduced, I often do what I call "tie and dye on the fly." I love incorporating traditional tie-dye into everything, from children's clothing to hair accessories and embellished footwear, because without color, the world is just black and white!
