Featured Artist : Dr. Ellen G. Horovitz | Creative Arts Therapy

As an artist and director of a graduate art therapy program, I have been ordering supplies from Dharma for over 15 years. In my most recent book, Digital Image Transfer: Creating Art with Your Photography, I married my love of transferring photographic images (using Citra Solv) onto silk. I am now combining Citra Solv transfers with Dharma’s Dy-Na-Flow paint onto silk products. But when using the Jacquard No-Flo primer for painting designs on silk, I can control the resist and get perfect edges. Sometimes, I combine batik wax with this process to get varied results when using Dy-Na-Flow paints on silk fabrics.
