I am Judith Raye, an artist living in Newberg, Oregon. I started painting about three years ago to relieve stress from my work as a paralegal. I was also inspired to paint when my granddaughters were born. All of my art includes bright, whimsical colors featuring animals and other objects from the perspective of a child. My goal is to create art that evokes laughter and smiles when seen, and to create art that restores a sense of innocence.
I use acrylic paints on cotton canvas. We then take high-resolution photographs and print those images onto Dharma ‘s super soft transfer paper. We take the images on the transfer paper and heat press them to 375 degrees for 30 seconds onto a variety of cotton and bamboo blanks purchased from Dharma. We have heat pressed onto T-shirts, dresses and onesies purchased from your site. We also create quilt squares and giclees.
