This product is your first choice for transferring images onto dark fabrics. Take any image on your computer, print it on this paper with your inkjet printer, then iron the image onto a shirt or other clothing item and voilla! Works even faster and better with our great new discounted heat presses, so if you are in production, we highly recommend you get a press! It could change your life! Easy and lots of fun!
Allows you to put white or color images on black or dark fabrics and not have the fabric show through. (Our other Inkjet Transfer Paper allows the fabric color to show through the blank or light areas of your image.) This paper has an opaque white background so nothing shows through. Any area of your image that is not printed upon will remain white. Therefore, it's best to trim your print close to the image if you don't want a white background or border. Works great on all of our black stuff.
Unlike other opaque papers we initially tested, this one lasted through numerous washes without cracking and peeling, and with minimal color loss! This is fun stuff. Give it a try! Hint - 1 key to success with these, besides using enough heat and pressure, is to wash them a day after doing the transfer or before exposure to rain, because any excess ink can run, just like with any other dye. Also, as with all transfer papers, pre-shrink anything that will ever need to be washed in the future before applying the transfer.
Please note that transfer paper DOES have a shelf life; it lasts about 6 months depending upon storage. It must be kept sealed in its plastic bag. High humidity or dry conditions can shorten its shelf life.
Made in: UNITED STATES (USA)

Some newer pigment based inks may react differently with various transfer papers, causing color shifts after heat setting. As always we recommend testing products, processes, and techniques before you start a large project.

Product Review:
For the most part this product works great. I used it with an iron and then with a heat press. SO much easier with the press - but either way the color looks good, and it turns out great on black shirts. The only problem is even with a heat press you really need to make sure you have the right timing, pressure, and temperature to ensure the edges stay down and the transfer does not bubble. Once you have your settings down - the transfer works great. Be careful about getting the transfer wet or moist (from rain, etc) after you first iron it on - the colors can run a little.
