This is a moderately heavy 5.6 oz. 18/1 100% cotton jersey T-shirt that's a standard for screen printing or dyeing. It's compacted and has more density (more fibers per sq.inch) for less shrinkage and better print coverage that comparable shirts this weight. It now has a new improved seamless rib crew neck that is taped in the back from shoulder to shoulder, and now double needle cover stitched in front for a nicer look and more strength. Another new improvement is that they are doing a lower relaxed crew neck instead of the traditional high crew neck, which is so much more comfortable. It has the usual double needle hemmed sleeves and hem. The 5.6 oz fabric is a perfect weight for those more intricate tie-dye folds. It's the basic T for kids, widely used for tie-dye, painting and printing when a good quality yet still economical shirt is preferred. Not cotton thread.
