HOW TO PLACE AN ORDER
 

We keep our website, catalog and our operation simple and economical which allows us to keep our prices low. We've been doing this for over 40 years. We have a great reputation - ask around!

Wherever you live, we can get it to you fast. If you place your order before 11am (PST), your order usually ships the same day - if you place it after 11am, it usually ships the next business day - no extra charges - just our regular service. Sometimes we do get overwhelmed and fall behind. If speed is important to you, please make it very clear when you place your order and we'll do everything we can to help out. For most addresses in the USA, you can choose to have it delivered as soon as the next day if you wish. Read the detailed shipping information.

5 Ways to Place an Order from the USA or Canada:

1. Place your order online through our secure website:

Just browse around the website until you find something you want to buy. Type a quantity into the "Quantity" box and press the "Add to Cart" button. You will be taken through our Secure Server to the Shopping Cart. The Shopping Cart keeps a list of all the items currently in your order. From here on you simply browse and add items until you are ready to check out. Check out gives you all your shipping options and how much they will cost. We will send you email confirmations when your order has been received and shipped. You may also create a Dharma Account to access additional features and conveniences.

2. Place your order over the phone:

First go through the catalog or website and decide what you would like to order, then give us a call Toll Free at 1-800-542-5227 or 707-283-0390. We are open Monday - Friday from 8am - 5pm (PST) and we're happy to help.

3. Fax your order to us at 707-283-0379:

Use our order form or any piece of paper.

  1. Start with your Full Name, Daytime Phone Number, and your Shipping Address.
  2. Include your Billing Address (the name and address on your credit card) if different from shipping address.
  3. List the items you want (include Stock #, and sizes/colors).
  4. Tell us how you want your package shipped.
  5. Include your MasterCard, Visa, American Express, or Discover card number and expiration date.

4. Mail in your order with a check or money order:

Use our order form or any piece of paper.

  1. Start with your Full Name, Daytime Phone Number, and your Shipping Address.
  2. List the items you want (include stock #, and sizes/colors).
  3. Add up the cost of your items.
  4. Add California state sales tax if you live in California. Nothing if you live elsewhere.
  5. Tell us how you want your package shipped.
  6. Estimate the shipping cost by using the shipping charts in the back of the catalog or use our online shipping estimator. Over-estimate the shipping cost! (If you're short it can delay your order, if you're over, we'll just refund the difference.)
  7. Payment must be made in US dollars
  8. Easier way to do this: start an order on-line through our secure website. Put items you want in your shopping cart as per step 1 above. When you are done, go to checkout and fill in your name, address and phone number. You will be able to see all your shipping options and exactly how much they are going to cost. Choose one. Your cart will reflect the exact total you need to send us, no guessing. When you get to the payment screen, stop. Find the "HOLD AND PRINT" option. This puts your order on hold and does NOT send it to us. Simply print it out and send it in the mail with your check or money order. If your order is over $50.00, we will ship it immediately if you have included a money order. Checks take longer as we have to allow them time to clear.

5. Place your order with a P.O. (public schools and federal/state-run institutions oniy):

Call, fax or mail in your order with a P.O. Number. We will bill you. Our terms (for U.S.public schools and institutions ONLY ) are net 30 days. Unfortunately, we can't create Pro-forma invoices for you. However, you can use our website to create your own pro-forma invoice by adding all the items you want to your shopping cart, selecting shipping methods, and then just printing it instead of sending it to us, by selecting the N30 payment option.  This puts your order on hold and does NOT send it to us, until alerted by your school/institution to do so. For all new accounts, i.e. your school has never ordered from us before, we will need a copy of the original purchase order in order to set you up for billing.
