If you need to return something, no problem. You can request a refund or an exchange or a credit, as you wish. Please examine the contents of your order upon arrival and let us know right away if you need to return something for any reason. You have 30 days from the invoice date to get an RA# (Return Authorization Number). After 30 days no returns are possible. Call or email, we are here M-F, 8 am - 5 pm PST. Please do not just send stuff back without an RA# for us to reference. See below for more detail, and about special order and drop shipped items, books and DVDs.
If your return reduces your original order to a lower discount level, naturally we will have to recalculate the cost of the items you keep at the correct discount. We also reserve the right to charge a restocking fee to cover our expenses for refused shipments, fabric that we cut for you (20%), or arbitrary returns for reasons not involving an error on our part, a defect, or straightforward exchanges, like for a different size. That seems fair.
Opened dyes and paints and other liquids and powders are not returnable unless defective, nor are sale items. Swim suits and underwear are not returnable at all due to health regulations. Other clothing items can be returned only if unwashed. Steamers, Heat Presses, Electric Tjantings, Air brushes, as well as drop ship or special order items are not returnable unless defective. One of a kind tjaps are not returnable unless damaged in transit. Books and DVDs (unless defective): books must be returned within 10 days in brand new condition, & DVDs are not returnable. Sorry, but we sell them discounted and returns after they are viewed are not possible.
Call 800-542-5227 or email firstname.lastname@example.org and get an RA# to put on the outside of the box. (Without it there will be confusion). Returned items must be in resellable, original condition, unless they are defective in some way.

We'll refund the shipping or pay for shipping to replace items only if we made a mistake or the item is clearly defective. If we did not do anything wrong, then we still have no problem with a refund or exchange, with a few exceptions, but we won't refund or pay the shipping.
Like most companies, we have to limit our liability to a replacement or refund for a defective item so it's best to test the suitability of a product before using it extensively or buying large quantities! We just can't take financial responsibility for time or other materials. We make no guarantees about how products will work in your situation. Test or take your chances!
