Lap over front bodice that doesn't gap (that was a trick, getting that right!), elastic empire waistline. Sleeves are loose extensions of the front body piece. Turned & stitched neckline & hems. Sewn with cotton thread.

This is a simple style that really flatters a womanly figure. (I wear a 12/14 and the Large fits well.) It does gap somewhat at the bust on me, but I am larger than average in this area. A camisole beneath will meet my standards for modesty, and I would only wear this thin fabric layered over a slip outside my own home for the same reason. DHARMA SHOULD MAKE THIS STYLE IN SILK. It would be perfect, and so flattering, women would clamor for them.

This is a very nice dress, especially for summer. It's flattering and comfortable. It is somewhat sheer, and I found the cut a little too revealing for my taste, but wearing a full slip under the dress solves both issues. I dyed mine with procion mx and used a stitched shibori technique, and I love the results.

I am so in love with this dress! Dyed up so beautifully I am wearing it for Easter ! I am actually buying a couple more this is my go to dress for spring and summer !
