It did dye beautifully and if I'd reviewed it a few months ago I'd have given it five stars. I dyed it almost a year ago and it received light use--my choir bag, to carry my choir folder and a water bottle each week to practice. However, I just used it for a bookbag when we took vacation, and the handles tore right off! Not a good thing when you're having to tote things onto an airplane. Maybe a little too much weight? I'd say if you're going to use this one, use it for lighter things. Even so, I also noticed a hole in the bottom, after, as I said, light use (except the books). I certainly would not use it for groceries unless I wanted them all over the ground.

I like these better than the floppy gorilla bags, they are easier to pack and my gorilla bags all developed holes with washing. Like another reviewer said, almost all of the straps on my totes have ripped out, so I would recommend re-enforcing them before you dye.

I silk screen with Louisiana market items (fish, parsley, okra, eggplant, crabs and shrimp) and sell at local markets - great sellers. And I keep some in my car for trips to the grocery.

These are really nice bags, but they do shrink considerably. They took dye beautifully!

Great quality! I just put grandma's picture on 12 of them for a family reunion/89th birthday celebration. The only negative was I tried to use the soft transfer paper directly onto the canvas and it didn't look good at all. Instead I transfered to cotton fabric and fused it in place. Much clearer photo. I'm hoping it will hold up well.

The size of this bag is really good and practical. I draw on the bag with fabric markers and ht looks good. It is a heavy canvas, which makes it perfect for carrying books or groceries, etc.

I got the biggest bag and I wish it had longer handles. 22" or 24" would be perfect.

The smaller size tote is a bit small for my purposes, but I like the larger size, and the fact that these totes are made in America and not China. Also, the totes are great for drawing on with fabric pens.
