Product Description

Solvent based gutta made locally and without the added cost of shipping from France so we can sell it at a very attractive price and have a better selection of sizes. Some say it is not as consistent as the French Guttas, but the great price makes up for it, and it is fresher (shelf life ~6 months). Others like it just fine. Thin it carefully (if necessary) and clean up with Gutta Solvent. Dryclean to remove. Work in a well ventilated area. Store in a cool dark place.

Due to federal fire regulations, Solvent Based Guttas can ONLY be shipped by UPS Ground to the 48 mainland States, and only up to 1 quart (liter)(1000ml) at a time. See our Water Based Resists for additional options.

This product works very well, But sure does have a strong chemical Odor!! I will have to wear a mask the next time I use it because it sorta made me sick to smell it.. But it does do what it is suppose to do..

I don't use a brush, I use a gutta applicator bottle. No bubbles. Works fine for me, without the fancy french price. If too thick, I just thin it with a couple drops of the solvent.

I found it allowed the dye to seep through in areas even though there was more than enough gutta to seemingly contain the dye. Also, pouring from the canister is a nightmare.

painted on silk stabilized on freezer paper. dyed right through my gutta line!!!!!
how is this possible. it NEVERr happens with pebeo soie clear gutta.

I like the product very much. You can paint much sooner than with the water soluble resists so long as you are careful!
