Shorts usually have a lot of sewing showing around the waist and pockets so if you want a good dye job,it's better if they're sewn with cotton thread like these. 2 side pockets, narrow elastic waistband, cut oversize to shrink to fit and fall mid-thigh. Very well made in the USA.

Seem to be very well made. Havent dyed them as yet. Look like they may run just a little on the "big" side. I'm sure they will turn out great!

they don't fit well in the waist and are way to big in the legs. Pockets don't lay well.

I have had a pair of these for years - I never dyed them, so I can't speak to that, but I CAN tell you that they've washed wonderfully for MANY years, and the elastic has held up perfectly!

I love these shorts. I use them for pajama bottoms and for shorts. The dye great and fit baggy which is something that I like.

I used these for a costume and they were OK. They were a bit fuller and the inseam was a little shorter than I might have liked, but the quality is good.
