Step 1: Paint the pumpkin freehand (or pre-outline lightly with pencil) onto the tote bag.

Step 2: To obtain a more "pumpkin" color, add a little of the red paint to the orange paint in a separate mixing palate. Paint the pumpkin.

Step 3: Fill in the other colors. You can mix the red and green paint together to obtain the brown for the stem and eyebrows.

Step 4: Use the natural color paint for the teeth, eyes, stars and moon.

Step 5: Use the tip on the squeeze tube of the green paint to paint the tendrils of the leaves.

Step 6: Outline with the black marker and gold marker.

Step 7: Let dry thoroughly.

Step 8: Expose the painted bag to 20 minutes of direct sunlight or a bright lamp to glow for 24 hours. Bag must be exposed to light for 20 minutes each time you want it to glow for 24 hours.

Step 9: Go trick-or-treating!
