Highly concentrated "industrial strength" liquid textile softener which restores the soft feel (hand) that the chemical processes in dyeing sometimes remove. Also prevents needle cutting on cotton knits if you soften them before sewing. Much more concentrated than conventional fabric softeners. After dyeing, washing and rinsing, add 1/4 cup to a washing machine load, (or 1 teaspoon per gallon). Agitate 10 minutes in hottest water and rinse in warm water. Trust us, after using Milsoft, you are going to want to take this fabric to bed and curl up with it! Caution, never use a fabric softener on the fabric before it is dyed, as it leaves a residue that can cause the fabric to dye unevenly.

I wish this was less "chemically." It works well, but make sure you wear goggles and gloves when using.

Not much to tell about this stuff except that it makes clothes not just soft, after dying, but extra baby soft.

All is good except i really remain clueless about the difference between paint and dye, how to set the colors and have the silk hang as soft as it was before the process with either. I have the dvd and the book, but still don't understand it. When you sent paints and dye, both said to follow instructions included. There were no instructions, only loose bottles in a plastic bag.

your service was great and all one could expect, but the product was only very average. I compared it to Gain Fabric Softener in my tanning business process and found it to be less effective and more expensive than off the shelf products. I am sorry but your billing of high powered industrial fabric softener just did not hold up.

not amazing, a little difference but for a full regain of the silky smooth feel of silk, dry cleaning seems to be the way to go...expensive though so if on a budget this is a better option.

I've never used fabric softener in my life . . . and I'm blown away by how soft and supple this makes my silks. And, it makes everything easier to untangle . . . I can even machine wash and tumble dry some fringes without ruining them!

Very very concentrated and has no smell or tint to affect your work. I tried it because a customer requested unscented or no softener on her silk for allergy reasons. This work perfectly for her and now it's all I use.

I am a longarm quilter and received a tip that using this product diluted 1:5 with water and sprayed on backings for quilts helped soften the fabric and created better thread tension. I have used it on a few "problem" quilts and it does work wonders! I am telling all my quilting friends and highly recommend this product!

Really made the fabric feel good after dying. I have some purchased hand dyed silk that was stiff and even after two years in the stash, it softened it right up.

I read some rave reviews from others, but after my previewing wash, all I can say is, "Is that it?" I wasn't sure which shirts were treated with milsoft and which weren't.

I throw a tie-dye party to start every summer. I send home travel bottles filled with milsoft with all the attending families. Everyone always loves how soft it makes the dyed items.

Honestly I notice no difference if I use this or I don't. I have changed the concentration, soaked my silks in just this and then a gentle cold rinse and still the same results.

I didn't much see the difference between supermarket softner and this product, and it certainly doesn't have a very pleasant smell. I followed directions, but it's still possible that there is a better way to use it?
