No-flow antifusant is used to inhibit the spreading of dyes on fabric. It is particularly useful for drawing or writing with dye filled felt tip markers or fabric pens on silk fabrics. When using a brush with liquid dyes or paints, blot excess dye from bristles before painting.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Paint this onto your silk and let it dry before using any silk dye. It's like painting on a starch or primer and then painting over it with your dyes. The dyes will now hold their line without spreading across the fabric. You can now paint with your silk dyes as you would with a fabric paint - no resists are needed. Washes out easily with soap and water. Can be steamed but a little harder to get out afterward. Works with all dyes. Some artists use primers like this so they can paint their signature in a corner of their piece.

This stuff rocks!! exactly what I was looking for to paint detail on sheer fabrics. I diluted it slightly and it really didn't change the hand of the fabric much...but it kept the dyes in place. awesome.

I love this primer. It works great and I have done great painting on the scarves after I use this. I have found that you shouldn't water it down too much.

This product works great for treating the silk neck ties I paint with Dye-na-flow. I can even draw on the ties with a
black sketch pen (perm. ink) before I paint and nothing bleeds. It does make the ties less supple though.

Still works quite well for me. I still find I can dilute it to do what I need it to do.
