Inko Resist as a substitute until we find a suitable replacement.
This waterbased, nonstiffening resist has a large, loyal and dedicated group of users and teachers. It's a very good product and has many uses. It is a fume free alternative to waxes and guttas for resist lines, and comes out quite crisp for a paste resist. It's consistency is such that it can be squeezed in a fine tip applicator, painted, silk screened, sponge printed, stamped and stenciled onto fabric. Popular resist for "faux batik" when you don't want that hot fumy wax, especially with small children. Just use it with an iron-set flowable fabric paint like Dynaflow or Setasilk for a totally safe event. Washes out by soaking and agitating in plain water. So it can't be submerged in dyebaths.
Directions: Apply the Presist, let it dry. Paint on your dye or paint. Fix your paint or dye. Wash out the Presist. For complete directions, including using it to DISCHARGE Procion H liquid dyes, check out our "How To."
