These brushes are great. They are soft and keep their shape well. The enamel on the brush doesn't crack or peel after I forget to take them out of the rinse cup. I can’t tell you how many brushes have come apart because they water logged.

I used this brush for applying dye to my silk scarves (painting), .... and I was disappointed. In my opinion, it does not 'hold' hardly any dye. I have other, cheaper brushes that will hold more dye. .... my 2cents :)

Beautiful quality brush. I have not tried it yet, but just touching and looking at it, it's a very nice brush to own. I do not regret buying it and it will get good use

Great for blending dyes on silk while still wet and fine painting of dyes or resists. I use the 3 smallest sizes. They rinse out easily and completely so they're good for going from one color to another. Sumi brushes are better for holding a lot of dye, but once you've used a Sumi brush in a color they'll always have that color in them.
