I would like to offer a comment/criticism of the devore' purses I ordered. Because of the way that the zippers are sewn in, the ends of the zipper are separated. While this is not a problem at the wide end of the slider, it IS a problem at the "far" end. Once these ends begin to unzip, it is impossible to get them zipped again, even though I think these are supposed to be self-healing zippers.
Once I discovered this, I have hand stitched a bar-tack at that end to prevent unzipping - something I wish was not necessary.
A different order of construction might solve this problem.

This bags dye up really beautifully, especially the cut velvet with alter ego. HOWEVER!! Don't expect any heavy duty use from them, especially the zippers. You can't over stuff these bags; the zipper will split open. So far, they've worked again after opening and closing them, but I expect they will stop doing that sooner rather than later.

Looked beautiful dyed, but a half of them had the zipper break in the dyeing process. Dharma with their great customer service replaced them, but frankly it was more trouble than I felt they were worth. I did about 5 or 6 in total, so I don't claim to be an expert - but with that break-rate I wasn't patient enough to try. Perhaps a got bad ones... but they weren't ordered all at once.

I have been using these for devore burnout and loving them. Perhaps because of the small size, I have been getting great results whereas yardage and scarves are giving me fits.

don't expect these to be an every day use bag. The zippers will not survive. Save them for jewelry gifts or such.

These bags are so soft to the touch and dye brilliantly. I have had so many compliments on my own that I have to get more to sell.
