I've dyed these with Dharma acid dyes as well as painted them with Jacquard Green label. I also embellished some with glitter and some with crystals. They make great gifts.

These work well and are easy to do with the Fabric Mate pens. I turn them inside out and paint the insides with silk fabric paint before I paint the outside. Then if any of the paint bleeds to the outside I just incorporate it into my design. (I would give them a 5 rating if I hadn't used the previous batch that were much better fabric.)

Plain Habotai paints and dyes well. Would love an option of colored interior lining. Easy small practical art item. Make sure to dry them thoroughly or it will sour like towels left in dryer. All my fault.
