DecoFabric Metallic and Opaque Fabric Markers

What's important about DecoFabric Metallic, Opaque, and Glitter Fabric Markers is that they will cover darker fabrics and give real metallic results.

• Acid free, Odorless, Lightfast.
• Apply to prewashed fabrics.
• Shake well before each use.
• Test on inconspicuous area first.
• Dry flat overnight.
• Heat set to make washfast with iron according to fabric's temperature setting.
• Wash/dry on delicate cycle. Use mild detergent.
• Keep capped when not in use.
• Clean nozzle after every use.
• Keep out of reach of children.

What's important about DecoFabric Metallic, Opaque, and Glitter Fabric Markers is that they will cover darker fabrics (even black), give real metallic results, and are water resistant without heat setting. "Fine" 3mm tip size. Odorless, non-toxic, light fast, acid free, soap & water clean up when still wet. Heat setting with an iron is recommended if something is going to be washed or dry cleaned.

I used these on jeans and the metallic and opaque colors looked great. You do have to depress the tip for a minute or so to get it to flow after shaking but once that is done it works nicely.

This is the only opaque fabric marker I have found. They flow nicely and are easy to apply consistently to fabric. The nibs get beat up when used on rougher fabric and they do run out fairly quickly so be ready to use more than one. I have been using them to paint shoes with great results. I like the opaque best. The metallics don't shine much on the canvas that I have used. They also tend to vary in coverage leaving some spots different looking, lacking consistency. The opaque markers don't seem to do that.

Love 'em,,,wraacking my braains (??) and thinking of new ways to use them. Currently outlining the edges of microwaved scarves with a loopy scribble pattern

I don't like thse for silk as the liquid pigment spreads beyond the metallic particles. Probably ok on a abric that wicks less.

I haven't used this item a LOT, but it seems to work fine. I bought the white, and it is definitely opaque and held up well thru a wash.

Not what I was hoping for- Bought violet got an almost black purple, first use puddled on a test fabric with little "glitter" may have just been a bad marker-or was affected by shipping in hot weather. Fullfillment and shipping was great by Dharma.

I've only used the white marker, but it's coverage on colored fabrics is good.

I've just tried one so far, the silver metallic, but it worked much better than I expected. It performed without effort and easily gave me a solid, well-defined line which was not too thick or thin, just shy of 1/16" wide, on cotton fabric. I will definitely be trying more of these in the future!
