FAQs
• Do I need to bring anything?
You’ll need straight or circular needles, size 8-10.You’ll also need plain, light-colored yarn. You can get everything here.
• I can't get there at the starting time.
It's a drop-in help session, so come anytime during the hours above. Just avoid arriving during the last half hour or so if you can.
• I'm a complete beginner, is that ok?
Great! We love beginners. You are welcome at any session.
• What will I be making?
You’ll learn the basics, then you can pick a simple project.
• Are these help sessions only for beginners?
No, we can help interpret a pattern, or get out of a jam.
• What can you help with?
Dropped stitches, pattern interpretation, gauge checking----- just think of us as your knitting "advice nurse". We'll get you back on track.
• Can you teach children too?
Children 10 years or older are welcome at any session, accompanied by an adult.
• I'm stuck in a project I bought somewhere else.
No problem. Our instructors are here to help you, regardless of where you purchased the materials for your project.
