Product Description
Here's a variety of our popular Good Luck Banner (the standard being 17 feet high, #GLB & #GLBN). The Shorter Good Luck Banner versions come in Silk (8mm Habotai), Cotton, & Nylon. The shorter banner is 69" tall (almost 6 feet) with a 27" tail that ends in a 6" star. How cool is that!? They have a long casing slot sewn along the edge that can accommodate a 1.5" diameter or 4" circumference pole or pipe (we used PVC pipe) - pipe should be at least 70" or more in length. Add extra pole length for insertion into ground, potted plant, lawn or whatever. Add a lot of pole if you want to embed it into sand. For lots of extended outdoor use, we suggest using the Cotton or Nylon Banners.
NOTE: The Nylon and Silk Good Luck Banners need to be dyed with Acid Dye and the Cotton Good Luck Banners can be dyed with Dharma Fiber Reactive Procion Dye. Both can be dyed with iDye for faster and less professional results.

These are way cool. We purchased the tall and the short, both are a hit! We painted them with acrylic paint, they stand up to the weather. We plan on getting some more.

Very fun, dyed easily with iDye. They benefit from having a little stiffener placed in the bottom hem (I used a zip tie cut to size and made little slit in the fabric to insert it). Makes the banner stand out a little more even when there is no breeze.

Excellent! It's well-made and, of course, takes the dye like a champ. My daughter did batik and tie-dye on ours and it now graces our front porch flagpole with luck and beauty. We will soon get more banners! Yay!

These are simply amazing - I can't stop finding places to put them or people to make them for. I am an elementary school teacher and now my school is going to make some to fly on "special" days to help draw attention to the event.

The short cotton banner (tie-dyed) lets people know when my store is open. I liked the short banner so much that I dyed the long one for a gift.

Have used these before, and LOVE them -- they cheer up the deck for summer!

I have the long cotton good luck banners and I love them. They took color beautifully and are of a nice weight.

My only problem is finding a pole both long enough and portable enough to use them!

I bought a couple of small cotton flags because they were the right size for my stall (3x3m). I am going to buy some more because people were asking if I sell them. They dyed really well and even though they were wrinkly after drying I left them that way (too lazy to iron and I like that just-dyed look). I dyed each one separately so they didn't have that uniform "imported" look but if you wanted matching ones I suppose you could lay one on top of the other and fold and tie together. They're thin enough to do this. I like the star at the top. I have seen others with hearts but they're a bit girly.

The banners dye great and look cool, except the star on top always weights it down. We just cut it off :-)

I ordered 6 large banners. Dyeing each banner a solid color and starting with the light colors first, I realized each banner had a blotch near the bottom which was most evident by the time I was dyeing the darker shades. Big disappointment. Stopped at 5 and returned the last one..... If the blotch (took dye differently - looks like a salad oil stain!) had been on the top, it wouldn't have been so bad because it would not be easy to see, but instead it is at the base of the flag.
