Made for us out of bleached 7 oz. 100% cotton duck and sewn with cotton thread. (Hard to find, so we're making them). The floor cloths are made from heavier 10 oz. natural duck. The duck is not pre-shrunk so there will be some shrinkage. They are perfect for dyeing, painting, stamping or marbling and you can make some fun stuff to sell, give or keep. I love the idea of banners! I've actually never made one and don't know what I would do with it if I did, but I get excited every time I see them. These come with a wooden dowel and end-balls which can be slipped out while you're working on them. Hemmed all around. Neat-o!

Great banners! We used a coat of primer, sketched a design, then had a group of teenagers meet together to paint them with acrylics and hang them outdoors. It was a wonderful project. The only drawback was that some of the knobs at the ends of the banners fell off, and had to be secured with glue.

Very nice. The wooden dowel was very high quality. The Cotton fabric wasn't as heavy as I'd like, but it worked fine for painting and printing on.

Material too rough, none of the ELTA Project participants wanted to use them to create pieces for our final exhibit.
