Beeswax

Real authentic genuine beeswax. Some batik artists won't use anything else. Smells nice! Yellow, refined, pure. Doesn't really crackle for batik, so artists often mix it with Paraffin Wax to "adjust the crackle", or use it for outlining or areas where you want solid coverage. Great for Ukrainian Easter Eggs! Melts at 142-149 degrees F.

Beeswax comes in blocks that weigh about 1 pound and it is priced by the block.

Remember to work in a well ventilated area and never heat wax to where it starts smoking!
