Product Description
Soft! Warm! In Style! The new High School Uniform, in case you hadn't noticed. Gildan's warm heavy 10 oz.80% Cotton / 20% Polyester fleece Sweatshirt hoodie with a polyester draw string. Dye, tie-dye, marble, paint or stamp. The 20% doesn't really interfere with the dyeing process too much - it might come out slightly lighter than 100% cotton, and it reduces the shrinkage in laundering. Heavy warm 9-10 oz. fleece.
Applied rib trim neckline, wrist cuffs, and bottom hem (classic sweatshirt construction that we all know and love). The only bad news is that Gildan stopped making the PFD version sewn with cotton thread. Sigh.
Anyway, you don't have to be a high schooler to wear this - great for all ages! The Kangaroo front pocket is the greatest invention since rock n' roll. Stash your keys, chapstick, Kleenex, nuts for the winter in lightening speed - it's very handy! Once you wear one of these, it's hard to wear anything else - they're addictive.

I was hoping for more cotton content. Partly because the latest print catalog states 90/10 cotton/poly content. They do come out a bit more muted than if they had more cotton content, but they still dye well enough.
I spent more than I normally would have. A bit spendy for an 80/20 item. If it was just for me or my kids, it wouldn't be so bad, but my customers at festivals don't like the price. Can't please em all though.

They are nice but I wish the tie was cotton and they shrink quite a bit plus they are fairly expensive. However the shirt is nice and thick and nice.

It is soft and warm but it is challenging to twist and dye and get a nice pattern. Takes a TON soda ash to soak and lots of dye. I don't think I could have wrung it out by hand.

The only way these could be better is if they were 100% cotton! We really dig 'em.

I enjoy hoodies. I enjoy them even more so when the hood actually grants coverage of one's head. I am very happy that I found one of these here. Because of Dharma I now have a bright fuchsia pink sweatshirt, tailored for a male. My only complaint was that the thread didn't dye, but I was aware of this when I ordered the product, due to Dharma being so diligent about catering to customer's wishes. I am very grateful for this product, and depending on my whimsical interests, which fluctuate from time to time, I may have some wish to purchase more in the future.

I'm wearing one, now! cozy cozy cozy. My favorite item to use transfer paper on. So warm and the pocket is great for holding one would need to stash on a cold walk on the beach.
