An elegant, sheer fiber with a soft beautiful drape and a crepe like texture. Takes dyes exceptionally well reflecting strong, deep colors. Very easy to dye and paint and responds well to all painting styles and techniques. Fiber is ideal for floaty scarves,shawls and wispy gowns. Like a feather floating on the wind. The essence of silk. Paint, dye, enjoy!
Fabric Details
• 100% Silk Chiffon
• 8mm, 44" wide
• You can dye this with Acid Dyes
• We found that this shrinks 19% in Length and 10% in Width disclaimer
• Available in cut yardage and in 11 & 50 yard bolts
• Machine wash in any temperature water

Remember, bolts vary! They can be over or under - we charge you for the actual yardage. If you need very specific yardage, order cut yardage.

I was disappointed in the roughness of it. Probably my fault for not reading the description properly but I expected a 'silkier' feel.

This is the best quality silk chiffon that I've found anywhere. I've bought it in both white and black and it is a strong fabric that always looks beautiful anyway you use it.
