Mandy Southan's book on Shibori Designs and Techniques is a good introduction to shibori. I have been a dyer for twenty years and find this book is a good source of inspiration with great photos and instructions. This is a nice addition to an experienced dyer's library and perfect for a beginner. As always, the book arrived quickly. Thanks Dharma, after twenty years of buying from you I look forward to many more.

I've done tie-dye, but never Shibori - this was easy to understand, with great pictures to illustrate. Perfect for beginners or folks with a little experience. Well written and interesting.

This book shows lots of techniques, with step by step photos. I think the directions are well written and easy to follow. A good book for beginners, especially.

Interesting use of dyes and techniques but fairly complicated, needing to use components that I don't have readily available. I.E. large tubes to wrap the silk scarf on.
