Product Description
Natural. Spectacular fabric. Beautiful, soft and interesting. If this fabric was human, you'd want to marry it. Elegant like silk, strong like hemp.
Fabric Details
• 60% hemp 40% silk, Fabric is PFD
• 2.6 oz per square yard, 57" wide
• Thread count is 10 threads per inch x 10 threads per inch
• You can dye this with Our Fiber Reactive Dyes
• Suggested usage; bridal fabric -crisp dupion look, needs to be underlined, crisp shirtings, lightweight jackets, home decor: lightweight window draperies etc.
• We found that this shrinks 17% in Length and 3% in Width disclaimer
• Available in cut yardage ( bulk discounts levels at 10+ yds.) and in 30 yard bolts
• Machine wash in any temperature water

Remember, bolts vary! They can be over or under - we charge you for the actual yardage. If you need very specific yardage, order cut yardage.

I would just like to say that whatever magic you put in the 60%hemp 40%silk fabric.. keep doing it!
I was in a pinch and had to dye fabric and make a garment in under a week... and it worked! BEAUTIFULLY!
I used procion dyes that I already had and the color was smooth and even and gorgeous and luscious. I love the fabric because it needs no backing, the hemp sort of serves as a self backing because it is so strong.
Absolutely perfect.

This is beautiful fabric! I have tried the same blend of fabrics (60 hemp/40 silk) from 2 other companies and this one is superior in quality. Nice depth of color when dyed with MX dyes.

This fabric dyes beautifully with reactive dyes and has a wonderful, interesting texture and slightly stiff body even after washed.
