Like our 8mm Habotai "China Silk" only slightly heavier. Smooth, sleek, and so soft you will want to roll yourself in it before bedtime.

Fabric Details
• 100% Habotai Silk
• 10mm, 36" to 55" wide
• You can dye this with Acid Dyes
• We found that this shrinks 3% in Length and 1% in Width disclaimer
• Available in cut yardage and 55 yard bolts
• Machine wash in any temperature water

Remember, bolts vary! They can be over or under - we charge you for the actual yardage. If you need very specific yardage, order cut yardage.

Perfect for my project! Even my 7-year-old granddaughter was able to easily paint large butterfly wings for her Halloween project, and the fabric washed and handled beautifully.

Great material! We ended up distressing the white silk with acrylic paint and turning them into flags for the prison in 'Man of La Mancha'. They look and flow great!

Love this weight! This is the first time I ordered the 10mm silk habotai. Usually I have been using the 8mm. But fate had it one time that 8mm was out of stock. So, holding my breath, I ordered the 10mm. This was for a custom banner and now this is the weight I will be using for larger banners! Great for painting/dying, I use Dyna-Flow, and great for strength with still the 'flutter' one wants in a flag/banner.

The silks weave could be better the dye doesn't want to flo as good as it should This bolt wasn't top notch but ok for paints
