ProCoat is about PROFESSIONAL QUALITY:
As good as FabriSign is there are times when you need that extra bit more. If you need 100% waterproof, machine washable, and drycleanable prints or if you need absolute "blow your mind" colors, then ProCoat is for you. However, to develop color, the print must be steamed. Please see Steamers on this site. ProCoat produces commercial quality/industrial grade prints, just like the fabrics you find in the stores. And ProCoat produces the absolute best colors possible. The blacks are deeper, the colors richer and brighter. When you need that extra touch, ProCoat delivers.

I am very happy with the ink jet fabric rolls, it lets me print great samples of my work right from my Epson Stylus 1400 that I have at homme. The only suggestion I may have to have an alternative for free shipping on big orders.

I like it print out nicely, but the manufacture claim after steaming color will be brighter, I did not see any difference. Do I have to steam this fabric so it will be color fast?

I like the product, takes ink well, and I like the way that they have various selection of fabrics. if I can ask one request, could you make this product with 13"x19"? I know so many my co-worker designers using this product for home printer that can print maximum size 13"x19", so we always have to cut the roll into 13"x19" size. it's quite a job since the roll is big. I'll be appreciate if you can make that size. I'm sure many people want to buy.thank you.

Silk Charmeuse 16mm takes the dyes wonderfully, vibrant colors and dye sets very well after steaming 30 minutes. Only problem I had was it is a bit hard to sheet feed because it is so slipery. Just watch it carefully when you feed it into your printer. Dye printers work very well with this fabric.

The silk crepe georgette takes the dye from my HPCP printer great. The only problem I had with the georgette is the edges will frey a bit when lifting it from the paper backing. But I would rather have to trim the edges a bit than have the cloth slip under the print heads.

Too tightly "attached" to the paper backing---and this makes it close to impossible to pull the material off without tearing the edges of the fabric.

As to Dharma Trading Company..your tracking of ordered materials helps to see if you have backing.

While the fabric (in this a case a very sub-par spun silk "taffeta") took the dye well, the paper backing would not come off easily at all, ruining half of the project. I would not use this product again.
