Product Description
This is a fantastic blend. The silk lends a beautiful lustrous shine to one side, while the hemp lends strength and body. Like silk charmeuse, there is one shiny side and one matte side. Both sides show the stubbiness of hemp fabric, giving a nice texture as well as an interesting look. Definitely a must see..

I ordered this fabric to make my daughter's wedding dress. It sews like a dream! It does ravel quite a bit, so make sure to finish all edges.

Interesting. Not quite what I expected, it is very substantial. After I dye it I will make a jacket. I am sure it will be lovely because of the sheen of the charmeuse.

This fabric totally rocks! It is my "go to" fabric for pretty much everything - dying, quilting, painting - th list is endless. It is gorgeous. I am not gentle with fabrics and this one stands up to everything.

Really beautiful shimmer. Even more than most silks. Better drape along the cross grain, so plan accordingly. The texture is lovely. I'm using this for the draped bodice of a wedding gown.

I absolutely loved working with this fabric! I made a fairly complicated wedding gown and it turned out great. It was so much easier to work with than dupioni because it didn't fray as much. I can't wait to work with it again!
