Product Description
White with that distinctive, soft, luxurious crepe texture with great draping quality. Excellent for clothing.
Fabric Details
• 100% Crepe de Chine Silk
• 12mm, 36"/45"/55" wide
• You can dye this with Acid Dyes
• We found that this shrinks 14% in Length and 10% in Width
• Available in cut yardage and in 55 yard bolts
• Machine wash in any temperature water
Remember, bolts vary! They can be over or under - we charge you for the actual yardage. If you need very specific yardage, order cut yardage.

This fabric is very pretty, with a great drape, and the weight was just right for the flowing but slightly translucent dress I was trying to make. It took dye quite well, and I didn't notice quite as much shrinkage as the page warned. I did notice a bit of a change in the texture once it came out of the pre-dye wash, though; it became a bit more "grainy" and lost most of the sheen it had before I dyed it, once the process was done.

I have not used this piece yet. In general, this weight is a favorite because of its luxury, yet it is light in our hot and humid climate.

I dyed this fabric cherry red and used it as a lining for a pair of black rayon crepe wide-legged pants. Wow. Easy to sew and simple to dye. The pants turned out fabulous.
