Product Description
This wonderful summer skirt has two layers. The outer layer has four tiers and is made from 100% fine Cotton Sari, a slightly sheer gauzy fabric with a subtle sheen. The underskirt is 100% cotton Garuda, a less sheer flat woven cotton. A flat waistband in front, with an elastic waistband in back for fit. The under layer makes the skirt have a lot of body, and be not see-through without the hassle of a slip (remember those?) The layers are thin enough that the skirts are still easy to tie-dye, in fact they take any kind of dye beautifully! Sewn with cotton thread for your dyeing pleasure.

I've been using this skirt recently, and I think it is so cute - but this time I did have a problem with some of them..... there were small holes in the weave of the fabric near the seams between tiers of the skirt....

My daughter LOVES this skirt!! It's so cute,she loves the two layers that gives it a little 'poof'(fullness). Fits well,dyes great. My other daughters now want one too. I wish they had them in adult sizes,I'd love one!

This is a beautiful skirt! It dyed very nicely. It's a long skirt. The size 4 is close to ankle length for a 4 y.o. The bigger sizes (8/10) don't seem quite as long, more like mid-calf. The double layers of fabric make it a warmer thicker skirt. Overall, it's very nice.

Great skirt...double layered so slip wasn't needed (even on stage with bright lights). We tie-dyed these for a play. The size guidelines were correct...the size 10 even stretched to fit some of the 7th graders.

My granddaughter loved it! After I dyed it Periwinkle, I added a splash of Red Violet over-dye. She was so excited she wore it while camping - and for her first day of kindergarten. It is great.
