I used these bandanas for tie-dyeing with two groups of children aged 7-13, a total of 34. I washed all of the cloth and dried it in the dryer. After demonstrating various tie-dye techniques, I let the kids tie/knot the pieces.

I used these bandanas for tie-dyeing with two groups of children aged 7-13, a total of 34. I washed all of the cloth and dried it in the dryer. After demonstrating various tie-dye techniques, I let the kids tie/knot the pieces. I used Dylon dyes to avoid any problems with toxic fumes, and we immersed the bandanas for an hour.The colors turned out beautifully, and the children were delighted.
