This kit really makes it easy to start silk painting. All you need to get is a frame and some safety pins, and the instructions guide you the whole way.

The only part of this kit that I was disappointed with at all were the brushes, they weren't the best quality and the tips kept falling out of the handles.

I loved the silk kit and made nice scarf. However, the brushes were not great quality. The hairs came right out as soon as I got it wet. This also happened to another student who ordered from Dharma.

I preffer to work with the bee's wax and paraffin than the water base resist method. The wax dries fast.

Silk painting is a lot of fun! Would have appreciated knowing about needing a frame though. :) Products are easy to use and directions make the process easy from start to finish!

Great kit for the advanced candidate. Although, I would strongly suggest adding a smaller size stylus,as this particular 'gutta' has an extremely fluid consistency, and does not allow for any kind of control,as with the Sennelier brand.

I really liked painting! I would like other colors besides just the 3 primaries, because I would rather have the colors than have to mix them ALL. But I managed to get several things to work out well.

Love this! It made learning how to paint silk scarves very easy, especially for someone with no talent and lots of ideas.

Contents of the box were a bit tossed around, but the kit is good.
